HYDROLYZED FEATHER MEAL
Source and Description
Hydrolyzed feather meal is the product resulting from the hydrolyzation (cooking under pressure with steam) of clean raw feathers. It is dried with natural proportion of poultry blood to produce a highly improved protein efficient meal. Feather meal is high in by-pass protein (69% of total protein) and is highly digestible.

Poultry by-product meal is the product obtained by grinding, cooking, drying and pressing, of wholesome parts of the carcasses of slaughtered poultry including heads, feet, viscera, hearts, livers and gizzards exclusive of feathers, except in such trace amounts as might occur unavoidably. It shall not contain the carcasses of animals other than poultry.
